Was at a tournament this weekend and the opposing team's coach was trying to burn the clock. He called an offensive timeout to talk to his batter. When does the batter have to get in the box?
We as coaches have always told our batters to not get in the box until the pitcher is on the rubber in order to avoid getting stagnant while waiting for the pitcher to get the sign.
