DD has hit a couple bombs this year using a 2019 LXT (it belongs to another player). She typically swings 2020 Ghost Advanced. So I guess I’ve got to look into finding an LXT for her. Which LXT model is the hotttest?
Wondering if anybody had a chart correlating exit speeds to bat weights. I would assume that exit speed would increase as the weight of the bat increases as long as the bat can be swung hard. Example of 32/22 vs 33/23. Would exit speed increase using the 33? Also curious about -9 vs -10...
Interested in discussing this topic. Basically are you trying to put the bat on the ball or do you simply launch your swing and let the brain/hands take over? I do believe that the thought of trying to “put the bat on the ball” can cause some issues (pushy swing). How would each thought effect...
Just dropping this here before going to eBay. Got a 2018 Easton Ghost. The bat has no cracks in it. No wobble at the connection. I good bit of paint has come off of it. $125 plus shipping. It’s got a ton of life left.
This is a must watch for every player, parent and coach! Are you playing/coaching to please yourself? Or are you playing/coaching to bring honor and glory to the amazing God that we serve?
Happened this weekend. Game is in ITB, score tied, bases loaded, 1 out, home team batting. Winning run on 3B. Batter hits a shallow pop fly that probably should have been caught but wasn’t. Runner at 3B scores. Runners at 1B and 2B (mistakenly) went back to the base. Winning runner crosses home...
Do you do any instruction or have any focus on what the knob of the bat is doing? Or do you focus/teach what the hands or bat head is doing? What do you look for on each?
Thoughts on Extension? Most agree it’s a byproduct of something else upstream (bat path). Do you teach extension? Or leave it alone since the ball is gone?

Gonna ramble a bit. I’m sure there are plenty of threads on this but didn’t want to read through them all.
Loading properly and on time sets the ground work for a hitter having the time to get to a powerful launch position. If load is off the hitter will make...
Wilson A2000 12.25 Left Handed Thrower glove for sale. Glove has been used 1 time. DD pitches some but primarily plays OF. She preferred to pitch using her OF glove. Paid $220 for it. Asking $125
Want to hear various approaches to teaching tilt (or not). What controls the tilt? Head, spine, shoulders, lead arm? How much does tilt impact bat path? Are the hands more important for bat path?
Been slow around here 😬
Just a tip that I’ve found to be helpful
If you do the basic pull the ball back and flip it (no arm circle or sling shot) I have found it more beneficial to wait until the hitter starts some sort of movement (load, knee lift) before tossing the ball. This will help provide the amount of time...
