Hi. My dd is 14/freshman. This is her first year we've have school ball avail in our district- this is the first week of practice here. She's a pretty good hitter. Freshman pitcher dd. First time playing school ball.
My daughter has been a pitcher since she was 8. Started out little league- all stars (3rd, 4th and 8th in the state playoffs) - did local travel teams for a while- moved to a B travel team last year. Call me crazy- but we're trying something different this year
I think I'm feeling so good because we have no expectations this season. I guess maybe just that she'll be p1 or p2. I Should've mentioned that we do know their past practice and tournament schedule too. So expecting that too I guess. Otherwise though- in the past- I expected things that...- xdfp01

Call me crazy- but we're trying something different this year
I've posted before. dd#2 is a pitcher. from 10u-11u, she was on a 'hometown' team with her friends (I'll just call it C level/all star team) that played only a few local little league tournaments or so, and didn't practice much at all. Mid-way through 12u- she made the move to a B team with...- xdfp01

Bad year
I can't stop thinking about what we should do next year. My 13u daughter played her first full/real year of travel ball this year. On a 14b team. They held practices once a week- all the way until May. Then they stopped for some reason (unhappy about that). !!! No practices after about mid...- xdfp01

What now?
It was all my fault. I've accepted it. And I really believe I've learned my lesson. sigh. But the question is.. What now? We talked my 13u daughter into leaving a "tournament team" made up of her friends (all girls from her grade/school). They had zero practices all year & they only played...- xdfp01
