    Pitcher is only a pitcher

    I'M sure it depends on the team your daughter is playing on. But from others that have or had college pitchers, at what age do you start letting them pitch only. I would love to have enough to just rotate and bench the other players. But just curious about what age others started concentrating...

    Classless or part of the Game?

    Saw where a team and coach were upset at another team, for having "poor sportsmanship". Coach said it's NOT OK to scream at a pitcher as she delivers the ball, or beat on a metal roof of the dugout with balls and bats to "intimidate" the pitcher and players. I see nothing wrong with this at all...

    Playing against other coaches with poor sportsmanship

    It really gets me when i have to play coaches that are just obnoxious and jerks. I'm sure we all have played against them. I dislike any coach to say anything to our fans, why get involved in playground gossip. You don't want to hear it, then don't complain to the umps on every call they make...

    letting kids play other sports

    I went to an SEC coaches camp and one of the AC said that she highly recommends that girls play other sports and not to specialize. But this creates a problem, especially for me. I do think "kids" should play around with other sports or dance or cheer. But at a certain age, (14?) you should know...

    Game Time Starts

    Had this issue this weekend, Saturday we meet after the umps call for the coaches. We exchange lineups and flip for home/visitor. I win and choose home, ump says time starts now (75 min game, bracket) and hit the field and tosses ball to rubber. I see lightning and i refuse to send my team out...
