Wrong. Fouts got a tremendous amount of swings and misses out of the zone. The more disciplined teams made her throw it in the zone.

The higher you go the less strikes you want to throw. I'd argue Montana Fouts threw less than 50 percent strikes. The difference is the better teams were disciplined enough to make her through more strikes.

DD plays for a National Team and trust me, younger team dues are not covering our costs. What they do help cover though is the costs of coaches getting to National events like IDT and PGF in California. They also don't allow parent head coaches on thier teams. You can have a daughter in the org...
If you want to be elite it isn't about throwing strikes its about putting the ball where you want it to go.
IIRC Riseball's daughter wold work on hitting a string and making it moving a certain way when hit with the ball.

There is no such thing as a screwball spin. That's just bullet spin. And spin matters with every pitch, along with axis of spin.

I found mine used from a real estate office that was closing. It is a 6 cup popper which is just about right. 4 cups is too small and 8 cups too big.

Bought a popcorn machine because I was tired of not having great popcorn at home.. As good as any ballpark. Use Bulk palm oil and popcorn and the magic flavorcol. . The prepackaged packs don't come nearly as close in flavor.

When they had the Olympic teams in Clearwater the Japanese team was loaded down with fruit. The US team gummy bears and Welch's fruit chews.

A hot dog is a hot dog as far as what is in it. We actually bring a couple of coolers. One for drinks and one for food.

Watched it as a Kid when there was a high-powered team in Aurora Illinois and also umpired the men's game some later on. The games I worked were for a league that had several divisons. One had an older gentleman that must have been in his 60's but could bend the ball like crazy.
