Thanks for sharing all this info. We, as a family, are trying to learn the ins and outs of recruiting. DD is a 2025 so she's attending camps of her top 5 schools and hoping for interest come 9/1.
This season will be a financial struggle for many families for several reasons. Has anyone considered buying the 3/4” colored wrist bands to get around the gate fees?
Great thread. I agree with the poor quality from Flo. The Clearwater tournament is a great opportunity to shine light on the sport. I only hope ESPN will play a bigger role in televising more games.
Great thread and thanks for the advice. DD is making her first trip to Scenic City this weekend in the Super Pool 14's. Just starting on the recruiting journey.
I understand the rule that D1/D2 coaches cannot speak to PSA until September 1 of their jr year. However, can existing student athletes “entertain” a prospect?
Dust control is best achieved by proper moisture level throughout the skinned surface. Simply sprinkling before a game is doing nothing as it will dry out in no time and forms a hard top surface.
Flood the field the night before and let it soak. Nail drag that morning and then groom drag...
The Ducks are in survival mode just to not go 0 for rest of the season at this point. Jordan Dail appears to still be very happy but she can't carry the entire workload.
I have to believe that adding 5 players mere days before the season begins is a sign of desperation to just have a few backups. Half the team are freshmen? I question how they received a #25 rank nationally.
Our DD is 12yo. We are helping her to understand the significance and personal celebration of signing parties. Here she is on the right with a family friend.
Sorry to hear the news. I have lots of respect for how she fought through last year and look forward to seeing her suit up next season. My DD really looks up to Kat and the pitching staff. Maybe we'll run into her at a game.
