Slapper out of the box
DD just started HS ball. Has been called out of the box 3 times in 7 games. She rarely has any problem during travel (the occasional call, but nothing like this). Seems to be either outside pitch or after she takes a ball and is really out there after a take. Causing a lot of frustration. Any...- softball_rules5

Teaching the chop slap
Looking for specifics on the chop slap. The one that is chopped off the ground high into the air. Wondered if anyone had cues on hands, bat position, etc. Any help?- softball_rules5

Slapping resources
Not sure if this is the forum for this, but we'll give it a go. I am looking for advanced slapping resources: drills, video, etc. We have done the beginning stages with the batter at the plate with a glove working on catching the ball and progressed to the tee. Trouble with looping
I have a hitter that tends to really "loop" or drop the bat barrell low in the zone. This is great for low pitches as she stays very tall through the swing, but has a tendency to loopy with other pitches. Have tried all my stuff, any suggestions out there?- softball_rules5
