    The reason there's tilt is because she is leading with her back elbow and not with her hips.

    good for her, i have my hitter having the front toe in line with the ball of the rear foot. Which is about 2" to 3", now you will have to do alot more reps, to reinforce muscle memory.

    one thing that will help your dd by opening up her stance is she will be getting a good 2 eye look at the ball. In other words she will be seeing the better off the pitchers hip.

    The reason she leads with the back elbow is because once the front heel drops and her hips start to rotate she leaves her hands behind, causing her to have a arm bar

    Does it matter if the batter strides or is a no stride hitter... no it does not. If you stride or not has nothing to do with the swing, it's personal style if you stride or not. All that matters is after the front heel drops.
