    memorial weekend

    I am heading up as I type. MD Chill 18u. DD is going crazy because she is still recovering from surgery on her labrum. Dr. will not release her til June 20th.

    Average yearly cost per family for tb

    I have never wanted to look at this but since the topic is up and I just booked all of our hotels for the summer. I looked at the total for just hotels. It is $2400 just for hotels for the summer. This is not counting the week for the Nationals.

    Questions on bunting

    We had issues with the arms extending to bunt but when I finally got the girls to realize that a sac bunt is an out we started getting better at bunting. Get the girls to understand what their job is and the mechanics will improve. Nobody wants to be an automatic out.

    This weekend temp expected 105-108.

    Frog Toggs are a definite. You can also look into Cytomax. Sold at GNC stores. Marathon runners and cyclist use it. It is in powder form and you can add it to bottles of water.

    Best/nicest complexes in the country

    We played at Frost Stadium last year. We have traveled quite often and that was the best field so far. This year the NSA Worlds are in Spartansburg, SC and the new complex there looks nice. Tyger River Park

    The USSSA Nationals for 8u, 10u, 12u, and 14u just happen to be in Orlando next week. We will be attending the 12u division and will be able to see her pitch at Wide World of Sports Complex on Sunday.

    Do different parts of the country run tournaments the same?

    In Maryland most tournaments are all 4gg. 3 pool play games on Saturday followed by single elimination on Sunday. All State tournys are double elimination. We are travelling to PA for the Memorial Day Tournament and it is a 7 or 8gg I believe. Real nice run tournament every year.
