I've sat on the bucket many times for my DD in these camps. They are evaluating her pitching, not my catching. (Although, having a glove that has a really loud pop helps...)
Just because you find the behavior underhand, doesn’t make it illegal. The USSSA rule you’re referring to doesn’t state relaying information to the dugout at all. It does extensively list many behaviors that would be “conduct unbecoming or abusive”, but it doesn’t list giving information to...
I understand your view, but it isn't supported by those two quoted rules. They don't say anything about information being relayed to the dugout, just that the coaches/players have to be on the field or dugout.
I think what we're talking about is more about softball etiquette or politeness...
Instead of pitch location/movement, how about pitch speed via radar during intra-inning warmup? Still illegal, or only pitch location during the inning?
We just had a very similar situation. Foul ball was caught by 1st base, batter out, then runner on 3rd runs in home. Safe and run counts! I complained to the Ump, but he said that since the foul ball was caught, not dropped, it was still live.
Sorry beforehand if this is a really obvious question! If a ball is caught in foul territory (batter is out), is it still live and anyone on base can tag up and take off?
Does anyone have a recommendation for a catcher's mitt that has the loudest pop? I would like to use it for a positive reenforcement for my pitching daughter.

We've been to three. First was great, two and three...not so much. Too many girls in too small of a facility. Run by four college SBall coaches, which was good. But, I'm not sure the Community College coach was very knowledgeable, helpful or relevant. The D1 and D3 coaches sure were though...
Yes, I've managed teams before, 10U and 12U. Luckily for me, I've never been in the position of having a team, but no pitcher. But, now that I'm the parent of a 14U pitcher, I can tell you of the many teams who email weekly asking to borrow my DD for the weekend due to they not having a strong...
You're shooting yourself, and your team, in the foot. As a pitcher parent, I can say that getting pitching lessons scheduled is, most times, dictated by the pitching coach's schedule. You go when you can get in.
Also, at 10U, pitching lessons are tons more important than the team practice...
For a non-expensive, non-electrical option, I've use the Blue Flame for a couple of years and love it: https://www.amazon.com/Louisville-Slugger-Flame-Pitching-Machine/dp/B000VZ2Q5G/ref=sr_1_4?s=team-sports&ie=UTF8&qid=1480448637&sr=1-4
It can launch a SBall up to 44mph and realistically...
