    Who says if you can hit you can make the team?

    I'll take a hit for this one but it's HS softball. It's a joke and always has been. A friend of mine's DD was an All American and is still in the top 10 in stirkeouts all time. Her coach felt she wasn't quite up to par so they put her in left field.

    WCWS....Pac 10 Again

    For almost 20 years now, I have listened to people vehemently argue how the rest of the country is catching up, and how Ca. dominance is waining but here we are in 2010, and Az and UCLA are in the finals. Being from Texas, I wish it were true but, yet again, the Pac-10 rises to the top.

    Gotta agree with Sluggers. It starts with the coach. The players will only rise to the coaches level of expectation.

    Based on 7=8 years of looking at data from from NFCA camp data, The bolded portion is accurate and the values have been consistant.

    CB, If your DD is popping 60+ and getting 6-7K's against good TB teams, I'm pretty confident college coaches will take notice.
