    40 vs 43 feet

    I know I have seen a few math wizards on here :) If a girl is throwing 55mph from 40 feet, what is the equivalent in time to the plate that a girl would need to throw from 43 feet to be the same.

    Coaches yelling pitch location

    Just curious if that is allowed or if there is any "interference" rule on this? Certainly we should train our catchers to setup at the last second, but I did see a catcher at a tourney this last weekend who would set up too early and the coach would call out to the batter where the ball was going.
