I cant seem to find anything in the search. Maybe it's the limited characters. But from the context it seems to be to do with inward coil while striding. Can anyone elaborate?
DD striding to toe, looks in a great position. But as the heel meets the ground everything kind of just "flys open". Trying to get her to just stride to her foot but she doesn't "feel" herself doing it.
I think it has a bit to do with letting the ball travel more. She sees a lot more velocity...
Has anyone had any experience with Dave Kirilloff's Language of Hitting?
His son was a first round draft pick and he has some interesting "cliffhangers" on youtube that focus mostly on timing. Apparently his Best Hitting Drill Ever has to do solely with the timing of the swing.

Ive have spent countless hours looking at posts, watching videos, reading books.. rotational vs linear..and still feel like i have not made any progress towards understanding a perfect swing. i can certainly see what the swing does and interpret it in my own way.. but i am having trouble...
I have tried eliminating the stride and just incorporating a toe up/down, but as soon as the heel drops the weight comes forward. If timed right, he hits the ball really well, but as pitchers are getting better his weight comes forward too soon. I have seen lately on outside off speed pitches...
Any good timing drills? I noticed DD is starting late on the pitcher so the ball gets too deep and not hitting the ball on the button. I dont like the cue..get your foot down earlier.. but the ball is on top of her by the time her heel plant is happening. I figured to start earlier and slower...
I'm not sure if it is considered "front shoulder flying open" but just looking for a drill that will keep DD from leading with a high front elbow in the swing. Or is this just the results of the bat drag I am seeing? Successful power hitter but consistency is not there because I am seeing more...
I have read people mention it and that some people have actually made DIY versions of this device.
But my question is does it really work for bat drag? I notice all of the videos I have seen of the before and after swings are a before swing: bat drag, but the after swing is always wearing the...
My 10 Year Old is having a problem "dumping the barrel" as soon as her swing starts. I think it because she is trying to get on the plane early, but it causes inconsistencies. I'm not sure if is is just bat drag that is the root cause. But as soon as the pitch is thrown there is a load, stride...
