DD uses Ghost Unlimited 34/25 now and we're debating getting another as a backup or, from what I heard, the Mizuno line is similar (and more cost effective?). Im curious of any comparisons in the Mizuno lines to the Ghost Unlimited, We've seen a couple colleges using the Mizuno line and they looked like rocket launchers.

Mizuno is the most cost effective of ANY brand...they leave a lot of room on the bone but
not many dealers will pass on the savings like some do ;).
The Unlimited was pretty close to sticker...the ones I got the first batch. I havent weighed my next batch.
I will do that this Saturday.
Why I say that is because the Mizuno bats run super balanced and I always tell people to get the heavier
weight when trying to get a Mizuno to swing like an Easton. But Im not sure this has to be done as
the Unlimited isnt much over sticker from what i saw first batch numbers.
So, I guess I just said nothing except be careful on weights...hahahaha :)

Thanks for the info and I intended on texting you about this when it is time to order.

We upgraded her to 34/25 on the Unlimited because the 34/24 felt too light. She was coming from a 34/24 Meta (which kept breaking, but she thought was a little light and a 34/24 RXT).

You said a lot... Only other question is does Mizuno have a comparable model? What is Mizuno's best model? The CRBN1? PWR CRBN? I know its all about what fits the player, but is there one most prefer?

Carbon1 is Mizuno's 1 piece bat...thats what a lot of college girls seem to gravitate to. The Power Carbon
is their best selling bat though as its multipiece

Core - update please! Any idea on what/when Mizuno may have something new out? My DD's have never tried the Carbon1 but have definitely liked their last two Power Carbons. They have had success in the past with various Easton bats (including a couple broken Ghosts) and a few years back a couple Demarinis. This Spring season is coming up fast and the old Power Carbons are just that...old. This may be the last bat I buy for them (Jr. year in college). So any advice or recommendations are appreciated!

early to Mid Dec from my last convo with them Bruce

If they liked the PC, I would stick with that. And they look awesome. I dont suggest any one piece bat
unless someone has swung one before. Unlike most, I never want to sell a bat to somebody they
end up not liking.

Well, both girls are still sharing the last two Power Carbons we got from you. When we discussed other options the first thing one of them said was , well I hit my last HR with the old Mizuno so... haha
