Let me ask this, do you believe the hands work late from lag to contact for example? Or do you think the hands work over the entire arc?

edit: third question is HLP, force is applied at the start.

Clemenslee1,

Hottest hitter on the planet, hitting a hanging curve for a HR.

This is at 30fps and no shutter clarity or slow motion. What do you see?View attachment 22545View attachment 22544View attachment 22543
Do I think the hands work over the entire arc or late from lag, no I do agree the hands work immediately and throughout. What I don't agree with is the using the hands to "snap" or force the barrel to go rearward as the starting action. I thought I made that clear in my last post. The guy above is naturally turning the barrel by the barrel un-tipping from a tipped starting action. and whipping the barrel through imo. So in a sense the un-tipping is creating a running start although not by a forced action. One thing is for sure, heknows when to be athletic when it counts. He knows how to have a controled violent swing.

I see him throwing his hands/knob at the ball as hard as he possibly can. Doing so causes the bat to drop behind him and then come up through the ball on plane with the pitch. It may look to some line turning the barrel, but it’s throwing the hands/knob toward the ball. The barrel path is a result of that.

Is he throwing the hands or the barrel?
