Usage of words change over time. We aren't allowed to use certain words to describe someone as they have become offensive. I imagine it words will continue to evolve.

Oriental-Asian
Anyone south of the border-Mexican was used then Hispanic--then Latino and now LatinX
Coon rear--Cajun
Fox -to describe an attractive female.

Now we can't use him or her.
