DD got her first HR this weekend! This was at a two day and she had been hitting really well. Had two doubles on Saturday and she was getting really good contact. Playing against a pretty tough team yesterday and she had been struck out and hit into a FC before she hit this one. She actually hit the go-ahead run but the other team managed to come back and score 2 to win

But it was still a great weekend!

You will be on Cloud 9 all week. She has a solid swing! DD's first HR came on her first official HS at bat. The last AB before that was at a Fall showcase where she hit the top of the fence. I had tweaked her swing a little bit that week. Balls were one hopping the fence prior to the change and boom! Just like that it happens! Once the seal is broken, more will come.

I try to take pictures of her all the time at tournaments and she hates them and usually just makes a weird face. I got a pic of her and her coaches after with the hr ball and she's actually smiling. It's great
