A good week in our house! DD is one of 3 Freshman to make the varsity team (the only starter - primary first baseman and #2 pitcher) and brought home a report card with a 99/100 GPA and won some award at school that they won't announce until the presentation ceremony. When I reached out to her guidance counselor to ask about the mysterious invitation DD received all she would say is it's very rare for a Freshman to win.
