Drop 11 in highschool does seem a bit light. But of course I don't know your DD at all. I'd be inclined to go up.

Core,
Would moving to a 32 -10 instead of a -11 be less likely to Crack? I understand cracked bats will happen when they are making the barrels as thin as possible that's why I bought 2 from you in case we ran into this during high school season. She went from a 31 -11 in lxt to the 32 -11 in powercarbon and said it feels just as light as her lxt.

Any bat that is too light for a girl may have a chance to break...and plus, PCs are really balanced. Your 31/20 LXT prob weighed well over
20oz. So the 32/21 PC is prob not much of a weight jump from the 31/20 LXT. So you may def be ready for a 32/22 if you seem to be breaking some drop11s

Again, nobody knows your dd...just speaking in general terms here

I suspected a drop eleven when you said that you've had several of these crack. To answer your question, yes. The new -11 bats, in general, are made for a slapper. It is made to bunt, slap, flare the ball with the occasional power swing. They are not made for the every day pounding of full power swings time and time again. Moving to a drop 10 should alleviate the problem.
She is a slapper but does do a lot of tee work. 5'2 105 pounds, pure speed and definitely not a power hitter but she does say she doesn't feel a weight difference in the 2 bats. I was concerned with going from a 31/20 to a 32/22 adding length and weight but I'm pretty sure she can handle it. Thanks core I'll be hollering at you soon they are gonna replace it w a 32/22 if she likes it time to buy another backup

32/22 seems a little big for her size but given her age it might be just right.

My dd is also a slapper but younger and smaller than yours. She broke 3, 30/19 PC's so I just moved her up to a -10. There is only about .6 oz difference between the two on my scale. I also bought a used LXT for a practice bat, they feel very similar according to her.

Some of those PC's are junk. My dd had 2 (original and warranty) that both shark toothed within a couple of sessions of cage front toss. Mizuno did nothing on the 2nd even though it was spotless so it was used in garage off the tee. It pissed me off every time I looked at it so I had her use it on front toss the other night and broke in half after 100 or so soft tosses. Junk I tell you.

If you have a warranty, take advantage of the warranty. If you do not, use it until it gets kicked out by an ump. It's not like the bat is suddenly worthless and must be relegated to tee work.. I think the last time DD's bat was checked was 2019 pgf.

I've seen bats stay cracked without getting worse for ever.
