Her brush needs to be consistent. Beyond that, you are approaching the problem wrong. She needs to work on her learning how to move the ball inside/outside/down/up.

She is throwing inside--which is a good pitch. Pitchers throw that pitch all the time. What she doesn't know how to do is throw the ball outside. She doesn't know how to throw the ball inside/outside/up/down on command.

How much does she practice? Is she putting in the time to master control?

The only person who can teach her is herself. She has to learn to control her release in terms of microseconds.

Let me clarify, her accuracy is actually quite good but when she misses, most of the time it's inside. We practice frequently and constantly work the 4 quadrants. She prides herself on her accuracy, which is why she gets frustrated when she misses inside.

First off, thanks to everyone on this forum. I posted a couple of years ago asking for help and many people were gracious enough to help us out.

Today, I need some help again. For the past few months my 14y/o has been dealing with missing to the right, doesn't matter which pitch. If she misses, mostly it's to the right. We've been trying to correct it by having her follow her power line more and not step out and open up too soon. I also thought maybe she was pulling back towards 1b on her upswing, causing her arm circle to get offline. Now since we've come back from the holiday break, she's been hitting her hip enough that it's causing a red mark on her upper forearm and causing her pain. I've read through the threads on hitting the hip and we've tried things that some have suggested but they haven't worked. I'm kind of at a loss right now. Any help or insight anyone can give would be greatly appreciated. I've included some video below. Thanks.

This may not be a mechanical suggestion, however it is one that defines the visual goal of location.
Practice with a batter in the box. Or simulate a batter.
Also putting batters boxes down can create a better visual reference than just throwing to a catcher.

There maybe body mechanics tips people may suggest.
But this sounds like your daughter got rusty throwing to batters.
💁 just a guess...

Just my experience, but I find that missing inside (righty to righty) happens most when brush is missed. Missed brush = usually low and in, sometimes high and out.

In that case, you need to relax. You are making a mountain out of a molehill.

This happens to pitchers. She'll get through it. As a parent, you need to reassure her and tell her to keep practicing. Show confidence that this is "just a phase" and she'll be better than ever.

She has to keep with the process...work on control and work on quadrants. She will be fine.

Trying to do anything beyond that is a waste of time, and you could end up doing more harm than good.

Do the math. Suppose your DD is missing by six inches. That means her hand position at release is off by less than 1 degree. (For the mathematically inclined: It is a right triangle, with the base being 40 feet and the height being .5 feet.) If she is missing by only 3 inches, the angle is less than .5 degree.

Yeah, I gotta say, the videos you provide were pretty nice pitches. I wish our misses were that good. :D

If you watch the last video when she starts forward starting her arm circle it is going the same direction the ball ends up going. she is pitching straight but her arm circle is crooked. Make sure the forward portion of the arm circle it is going directly towards the inside or outside of the plate and the rest of the arm circle will deliver the pitch where she wants it.
