I'll try and find a place to weigh it.
DD used to be an LXT girl but she fell in love with the original Ghost and hasn't tried an LXT in a few years. The feel will be important for her but she pays attention to the numbers so exit velo will be important too.

So I thought I was buying a lighter bat for my DD when I got her a 33 drop 11 standard ghost and low and behold its heavier than her drop 10 carbon candy. 23.5oz WTH!!
So is it the concensus that the XLT is even heavier than the ghost?

Well, if you read any of the bat data here or talked to anybody that knows bats a little...you would know the Demar would be more on sticker or maybe even a little less. So a 33/23 Demar would be right around 23. And any Ghost you buy will be an ounce to ounce+ over.
So no...I tell people if they are swinging a 33/23 balanced bat going to Easton, to consider doing a drop11 to get closer to the drop10
weight of the balanced bat they were swinging. Im not telling them to go drop11 to be lighter.
That's why buying from people that know a little about bats and asking questions is important...also doing some research on weights.
Many stores don't care.

With the exception of most Demarinis, bat weights on bats are pretty much a joke at -10 and -11. I wouldn't even trust a -11 to weigh less than a -10 and definitely not by an oz.
LXT is not an exception. While likely not heavier than ghost, it will most likely be close to an oz over. Just got a 2020 LXT (-11) 33/22 because I suspected it would be heavy...in wrapper AW 23.1.
The only 22 oz ghost you can get is in a 30 or 31 inch length.
The 2 drop 9 I have weighed, Rawlings Quatro and LXT are spot on. I think manufacturers can hit weight at the lower drops, but its mostly just marketing BS at the mainstream weights.

I was able to weigh both last night and got the results I expected.
Ghost ADV 33/23 - 24.2 oz
2021 LXT 34/24 - 24.1 oz
DD took a few dry swings before I weighed them and said she thought the LXT was lighter (she's be using the ADV for a year). I'm not sure she can actually perceive a tenth of an ounce difference but perception is reality.
I probably won't get exit speeds until this weekend.
That's good to know. Seems like they've gotten better about being closer to sticker weight. DD has a RTX that's only .3 above sticker. She loves her ADV though. In fact she'd probably fight me over it.
Come back this weekend after she hits with it and tell us what she thinks of it.
