For the record DrRiello, and to those reading this, clinics like this are not all that hard to arrange.

The most difficult part of a clinic is finding the location. Now, 99% reading this probably think they have access to a school gym or something anytime they want it...... until you try scheduling it. You will find out there is basketball conflicts, volleyball conflicts, a wrestling tournament, a school dance, a craft show, a PTA meeting, or any other thing that happens at a school or any kind of gym. It's not that easy. And if you do get a gym, you have to find out if there's liability insurance needed, if the school custodian has to be on property at the same time, if a school official needs to be there all day, etc. etc. etc. Most people find out it's not so easy and there's usually hoops to jump through.

All of that aside, and if a location truly isn't the problem, then the rest is easy. Advertising is all done via websites, word of mouth, and social media. Depending on where you are and who the coach is, you can sell out in an hour. And people will flock from all over to the right location on the right weekend. Attendance, and subsequently the money, is the easy part.

A lot of people, understandably, don't get involved in anything except taking their kid to/from clinics, practices, games, ice cream after games, etc. And that's ok too. But the hardest part is finding a place to put this on. NOW, before anyone says "I live in Miami... we can do this outside at a park for no costs!!!" That's true, except I learned a painful lesson doing a clinic in Dallas years ago: having no cost is great, you and your kid come in and go home after your 2 hour session except the instructor has to be out in that blazing sun for 12 or more hours that day, then has to turn around and do it AGAIN the next day. Indoors is almost always better.

Anyway, not that anyone asked by that's my 2 cents.
