I'm keeping my eyes open for a Liberty on sale...no luck yet. Does anyone have experience with the Mizuno Prime MVP (in case I go with a cheaper glove)?

these are good...very decent actually. The thing with Mizuno is the hinge in the heel actually makes it a ton easier to close correctly. More fastpitch gloves should be built like this.

So I think I narrowed it down. I gave up on hearing back from Drakemir and just called Vinci. The very helpful gentleman I spoke to basically said the BV 1929 and RV 1961 would both work, but the 1929 would be more immediately comfortable because the basket web allows for a narrower hand placement. So I'm edging towards that for a girl who will probably play IF corners mostly with some outfield....BUT I'm still not sure. Then the wild card is this Wilson 12.5 which she tried on and reported that it felt fine as long as it wasn't splayed out. It's also her team (and our H.S.) colors, but that didn't especially sway her. She likes traditional black and brown just as well (kid after my own heart). Anyhow, the Vinci discount probably isn't quite as juicy, but I could get any of these three gloves for about $185. Whaddya think?

Both my daughter's have used Mizuno Primes for 10u and 12u. Both 12.5 and a catchers mitt. Soft leather, easy break in. Catcher mitt took a lot longer. They needed them playable right away and little breaknin time. Each last 2+ seasons and then became too "floppy". Catchers mitt is still going 3 seasons now.
