Played a team this weekend who is a decent team but that is over shadowed by their coach and well trailer park parents. Their hitters were having trouble hitting our pitcher, 0-0 after 4 innings. So they’re coach started saying, “in” “out” after our catcher setup. We informed the umpires, they did nothing. Is there a rule that covers this?

What age group is this?
There is noting preventing the coach form doing this especially if your catcher is giving away location early.
But if this is a "young" age group it's kind of a d-bag move on the coach.

Did it help his hitters?

Unfortunately there are no rules to prevent trailer park trash coaches from being involved in the sport. Wish there were though.

It's a classless move by an obviously classless individual but is easily the most stupid thing a coach can do because a smart team will make it work to their advantage by setting up opposite of the called location and the classless coach will actually make things even worse for his players.

I agree completely. Complete bush league. DD always enjoyed playing against coaches like that. I remember playing in a tournament in Virginia. The 3rd base coach thought he figured out the catcher's signals and starting yelling out "change up" to his hitters. DD and her catcher decided to use that to their advantage. Whenever he yelled "change up", they automatically switched to riseball. The hitters were a mess. Every once in a while they would actually mix in a change up when he yelled, just to further confuse the hitters. It was fun to watch.

Some coaches will try anything to win. We had a player who was cut from our team at the end of summer go to another local org’s team. We faced them in a round robin and it was obvious she had given her new coach our offensive signs. Once we caught on, our coach switched it up. Their 3B almost took a line drive to the face thinking we were going to bunt. Luckily it just missed her or she would have been seriously hurt.

Our catcher sets up right down the middle on every pitch, target always low. The pitcher targets the top of either shin guard for low pitches and either side of the catchers head for higher pitches. The catcher doesn't move direction until the pitch is about to be released. Haven't had any issues yet with pitches or relaying location.

I would think this would cause catchers to have to reach for pitches on the corners leading to umpires not giving you those pitches as often. Also, not giving the umpire as good a view of the outside corner.
