while we're at it, i'd say a dress code that dictates how a player wears their hair is a little much for me.......but that's just me
On the field hair up is too much to ask?
Aka-not dangling flying around hair that can and does get snagged?!!

nfl cant yoke tackle but can pull hair right???

i think to have a team rule as to how a player wears their hair is a little much, yeah

everyone who has played for me 12u and up has come to the field ready to play......how that pertains to their hair, i leave to them......i would tend to trust a D1 college player to do what is best for themselves as a player and their team each and every game, at least it regards to how they wear their hair lol

The reports about Texas Tech show a team that had split into two equal cliques. There was a clique supporting the coach, and another clique that really hated the coach.

It is inevitable that a couple of kids will be unhappy. But, half the team?

The hair thing is interesting. Most youth leagues that DD participated in had rules concerning jewelry. For example, DD always needed to remove earrings before games. I don't really remember any official rules concerning hair, but she always wears hers in a pony tail anyway. This is another case where if it is an established rule and the players joined the team knowing about the rule then I have no issue with it. If you don't like the rule, don't join the team.

Jewelry safety issue. As is imo hair topic.

Even at catching/hitting lessons have seen students learn the hair yanking lesson of
"dont let it get in your way".
Learning the "ouch" way....who didnt plan with a head band or such.

Certain college sport programs have wardrobe requirements/ restrictions that would be more irritating (to me). Except for I do understand we are representing a college and a group which is our team.

,
Be curious how many starters are on the not support coach side.

I wonder how a muslim player would be received if she wanted to conduct a sacrament of Islam in the Texas Tech locker room or dugout?
Just sayin'...
Absolutely right! The close-mindedness of people is astounding. They would never allow it.

I'm never quite sure what it means when somebody tells me they are Christian. Aside from regularly attending church, I think I act about the same as observant Christians. I drink very moderately and don't really swear.

Having said that, I have noticed that dugout conversations amongst the girls can be pretty earthy.
