A girl on our team just picked one up from Core. Nice bat but man is it heavy. I was surprised how much heavier and more end loaded they are than say a CF of the same size. I am sure it’s just the way it’s balanced but I would say they are definitely more geared towards a power hitter.

Eastons always run an ounce or more over sticker weight. Demarini CFs tend to be really close to sticker weight, sometimes even a little under. CFs are also very "balanced", whereas the Ghost is less so. I wouldn't really consider the Ghost "end-loaded", but the balance point is definitely further up the barrel than the CF.

Right. My daughter wanted a ghost because and I told her no way. She’s more of a contact hitter and very used to the balance feeling of a CF.

My DD went from a CF8 to the first Ghost (blue/ASA), and loved it immediately. She's now swinging a 2020 Ghost, and loves it more than her first one. That said, my DD has always been more of a power hitter.

Yeah, I tell parents often that the numbers painted on the bat are like clothing/shoe sizes. Some brands you're a 12, some you're not.

The "Bat Weight Database" is a great tool to know what you have, what you're getting. To make sure you understand exactly what is changing.
