What is High Level Swing? Does this mean at a level above most swings or a swing up in the zone with a level bat?

All of my girls have a different swing, but I really only look for a few things. body position when the front foot comes down, swing angle, head position through the swing and follow through. Swing should look effortless and dont pull the head and chest up in the follow through.

If you mean TM snap. No. I think the axis of the swing is more the spine, not rear hip socket and hitting the ball a little more out in front. Large male athletes can hit off one foot and snap the barrel but young ladies would have a hard time doing that. IMO

I spoke to a coach recently who said he teaches the high level swing pattern that Richard Schenk uses. I'm curious to how common this is and any pros and cons. Thanks!

Parts of TM swing. IMO, he has some great stuff and some his stuff is coming back to the norm. Talking about swinging down and tight pivots a lot more lately. He has a clip of him swinging down one legged and two legged and shows the difference between the two and it's good IMO.

First question, what do you consider a HL swing to be?
Well, I'm not entirely sure. A coach told me he teaches the high level pattern swing that some of the Division 1 programs are teaching.

Please forgive my ignorance on this, but is there a certain type of swing that is taught to most softball players? Is there one that is used by more elite players? Reading through the pitching forums, I've noticed that there are 2 types of pitching styles and 1 type (IR) is much better then the other (HE). Is there the same type of thing for hitting styles?

Can you tell me what the TM stands for so I can read more about that? I googled TM swing but nothing came up.
