Is it possible to wear out a glove in 18 months?

I've heard others on here say that the dual-core Rawlings go floppy very quickly. Do HOTH gloves come with the dual-core option as well? Or I guess I should have just asked - is that the version your daughter is using?
If it is a dual core leather it will said dual core on the glove.

you are good....

To be honest, if MLB SS didn't have to backhand/forehand balls they could use a cardboard glove and have pretty much the same fielding %...

Omar doesn't even catch the ball...Nothing prettier in sports to me than a great SS fielding a GB (ok I am weird I know)

DD gets 12 months out of a glove. Good ones.. Vinci, Liberty, A2000. That's with 12 months pitching 4 days per week and two practice days per week

Wow, that's quick. It would be a drag to break in a glove every year.

My SS is on yr 4 of her A2000. She takes good care of it but doesn't baby it.

DD plays in Florida so there's a considerable amount of rainy tournaments. When she doesn't pitch she plays first base so the glove is always in the dirt.
The glove will still stand up on endz there's just no padding left in it.

So far the best was her rawlings liberty. Needed to be restrung after 10 months. DD likes white gloves so after 1 year they look like something the cat dragged in.

My DD goes though a glove every year or year in a half. She’s a catcher and they are not cheap.
