I can't forego the basic but best, Tanner tee. Every one that I've seen try to copy it made it of cheaper and crapier materials. My tanner has absolutely never let me down. There are obviously plenty of gimmick tees, but I can't get past the quality construction that just keeps on going. It's like my Toyota cars/trucks. They just keep on working! I was given one 6 years ago at a national championship and it's still working just like the same day I was given it back then.

Sometimes the oldest, simplest is best.

I have two Tanners I bought. One stays in my cage with a 10# Olympic plate on the base. One stays in my Bownet bag. You grab the stem, give the base a spin and it fits right in there.

Two daughters, bunch of friends daughters and I don’t know how many teams hit off of them. I think I bought both in 2012.

I have looked at the heavy base Juggs. I like it. It doesn’t seem like it is as “bownet bag portable” and I don’t need it in my home cage.

I don’t like tees with legs. The Ruckett looks well built but legs on tees end up in the wrong place and players don‘t seem to realize they can move them.

There's always the Cheap way out ,, DD broke our tee and needed one in a hurry, noticed a friend of mine who owns a driveway sealing business across the street and he had some 'orange road cones' made a few adjustments to the cone and its still going strong after 3 years. Our team does get a few looks when were warming up with 3 orange cones :)

Growing up, my grandfather worked for the Highway Dept. I put a fair amount of swing on an orange cone!

Those of you with the Tanner Tees, Ive found a good price on both the Tanner Pro and the Tanner Heavy. Do you think the Heavy Tee Is really necessary? DD doesnt mishit much and with the top cone that they have on these I dont see It tipping over. Interested In your input though.

I have both currently, the regular works fine and I generally have a 5lb plate on it. I personally love everything about the heavy. It’s base is superb and can sit anywhere on or off a home plate and still be stable due to it’s design. I recommend the heavy as I feel it’s the perfect tee. Nothing wrong with the regular if you decide to go that route.

Tanner tee.

'Gimmick" tees are like golf training aids...expensive and at best probably worthless, at worst damaging.

Tanner Tees all the way. We hit and hit and hit. I would not chance buying any other tee when I know we can get thousands of swings on a Tanner Tee.
