Reviving this thread to say Wilson had a massive sale yesterday. Picked up a 1721 for DD @ $215. Anyone else snatch up a wilson glove yesterday?

I love revived old threads, congrats on the new 1721, I'm sure that's going to be a great glove! Break it in old school, take your time, play catch and hand roll it around on the carpet watching TV. And mainly, keep your big dad paws out of it! 😉

Hey DD’s pro stiff DW5 is still going strong! Never had a glove hold up so well.

Her school hasn’t ordered gloves yet, I told her to tell them she wants an A2000 DW5 and have the equipment guy do Pedroia wrist strap lacing. I got the eye roll.....

ETA a really dumb question: does DW in DW5 stand for David Wright?

Looks like they still have that pattern in the custom shop

Ha!

The non-baseball fan has been clearly identified lol

I truly have no idea what team (s) played for. Pretty sure you don’t have your own glove series if you sucked though.

He was a NY Met. Liked him as a sports personality but I’d rather watch Nolan Arenado as a 3B any day! And that’s honestly not a slight on David Wright!
