DD's used Ringor for years, with the pitching toe (get two sizes bigger). They've lasted two to three years per pair. High school team once required Mizuno's. The upper on both shoes split within 3 months. She used Boombah and they were good, but she didn't like how wide the toe area was. She's never tried other brands.

Mizuno is never wrong

Both DD's have worn Mizuno forever and won't change., Monica Abbott's Addidas was the closest 2nd and pretty goodl

My poor DD's picky feet did well with Mizuno. Once I figure out what color the team is getting that's probably the brand we'll go with. She likes her Boombah cleats as well, but even those hurt her feet by halfway through a tournament.

We have been happy with Ringors with the pitching toe. Interested to hear and see more about the NB with pitching toes that will be coming out as always on the search for something better.

I am just getting ready to place a team order with Ringor but it hinges on one girl who is a size 12.5 normally. Biggest they make is 13 and after reading the comments here has me second guessing Ringors.

Ringor’s customer service can’t be beat. I would not hesitate in any way to buy their products. They have taken care of us anytime we have had an issue above and beyond and have a lifetime customer in our family.

Do you have any additional info on this? Very interested as my daughter prefers NB over Ringors from a fit and weight perspective but I have to put Tuff toe on the NB.

Talked to the NB rep at the Sparkler this past summer and he had them on display. They looked great and looked like a very good alternative to the Ringor which to me, are too bulky. The NB's had a more substantial toe than their current offering but not as large and bulky as the Ringors. Looked to be a good compromise between prolonging the life of the cleat and bulkiness.

NB rep told me they would be out in the Fall but for the life of me I can't remember the name of them. That's all I got!

We love the ringors w/ pitching toe, but certainly wish they were lighter. DD is already one of the slowest on the team and these shoes don't help any.

Sorry, but Ringor quality went to garbage a few years ago. The pitching toe is more of a glorified pencil eraser. Her first pair a few years ago lasted 15 months and she wore the metal cleat to a nub and the toe was in great condition. After that they changed the material of the pitching toe and I am now looking to replace a pitching toe that is 37 days old.

My daughter that pitch wear Ringor. Nothing lasts like Ringor cleats. They never complained about fit, but they have standard feet for normal shoe widths. We did order 1/2 size larger. Daughter’s wear 10.5 and we ordered the 11 and it seems to fit good. daughter is going on 2 1/2 years with the same cleats. She needs new ones as the spikes are worn down, but other than that they’ve held up well.

DD has tiny feet, she wears Ringors with the pitching toe in a 6.5. They held up tremendously -- she pitched about 140 innings this year, plus 100+ practices and they are still in great shape. Her TB team worked out a sponsorship with Mizuno, so she's making the move to metal cleats with a new brand. Fingers crossed, happy to hear positive feedback on the Miz.
