OUR W/L record comes along with a fantastic developmental program or you wouldn't be able to say it on a forum like this. Anybody that Ked 24/26 times didn't belong on this team in the 1st place, probably a "mercy add-on". You can coach rec. and "daddy teams", and leave the competitive teams to me. Parents and daddy teams just don't get it, some girls are just not athletic enough to make the cut on competitive teams, be real bud, if you can't cut it, play rec. or schoolyard ball and still have fun.

?
You can say pretty much anything you want on this forum but the fact that a) nobody knows who you are or what team you coach for and b) more importantly, you called him an idiot when he has a DD pitching for a P5 conference team, makes it less likely that anybody is going to believe anything you say.

A team's W/L involves many factors including development before a girl arrives on your team and the level of competition you play. Unless you are an elite national level team (Corona Angels, Bandits, etc) for all we know a W/L record like that could mean that you are not playing good enough competition..

As important as the name of the team...

My GDD bats .775 for the Platinum Elite Diamond Preferred Batbombers
Pretty good..sounds like it is time to get her on the Premier Elite Diamond Preferred Batbombers

Sluggers, if you spent more time in the technical hitting forum instead of the pitching forum you could bring those paltry numbers up, lol

In every 10u team meeting all parents should undergo hypnosis therapy that helps control their urge to bring up a 9 year olds batting average.

Just like you don’t talk about your money with anyone but a financial advisor, you don’t talk about your dd’s hitting stats with anyone except her hitting coach. The hitting coach is the only living human being besides mom and dad that cares. The only reason he cares is being paid.

I’d say I’m more of an rear than an idiot. I like to call out braggarts. If you coached at the highest level for 40 years and always had a winning record I’ll be Impressed. If your GDD can really pitch 68 AND is also the best SS and batter on the team, I’m super impressed. Sounds more like Granddaddy ball though if she’s the best at every position and the best hitter and pitcher.

I didn’t bring up my kid because her accomplishments had nothing to do with my point. I can say she throws 68, only in this case it’s true. Even so, what difference does it make? I know she’s far from the best. She’s just bettter than yours.

Huh, So your an rear, nothing wrong with that. Not bragging just telling my truth. My W/L record includes recball to travelball to HS ball, impressed or not....but it's true. Yup, she can throw 68mph w/ 35mph change, and play SS with the best and as skilled a 1st basemen as you could find. She enters college on a full ride, SP and either SS/1B as her coach has indicated. Super impressed or not?.....YES, extremely proud of her accomplishments BUT far from Granddaddy ball.....if you got it, you got it. If your kid is in fact better, GOD BLESS her, and good luck, nice SB future ahead. HOWEVER, remember the thread was on using stats not touting our progeny...... so with that end, I have had tremendous results using stats to prepare my lineup and batting order, whether you or anyone else agrees or not. Enjoy!
