Our catcher got pretty good at noticing it, and then calling low and inside pitches to exploit it.
Catchers and pitchers need to know more about hitting, than the hitters do.

FP26, If you have some time. Can you please explain more about this? Basically the correct vs the incorrect way to tiltI agree with this. Sure, most kids "tilt", but few do it properly. It's one of the things we looked for when playing other teams. Our catcher got pretty good at noticing it, and then calling low and inside pitches to exploit it.

Do you have examples of professionals swinging with the lead arm pronation that was demonstrated?

The follow up description of this lead arm pronation being critical to staying through the ball is not correct. Instead the top hand passes beyond the bottom hand.
Thank you, much appreciated!I don't have access to my gifs while I'm at work. I will respond later this evening when I get home.

Please post or link to a video of a kid not tilting. Every kid with bat drag tilts. They have to. Almost every youth hitter has bat drag. So they don't need to learn to tilt.
Part of learning to fix bat drag is to bring your back elbow down, not forward.
So just saying the word 'tilt' may make the problem worse. Taking the back elbow down to the belt would go part way to fixing bat drag.
When watching professional hitters, I typically see something like the gif below. The angle of their shoulders (amount of tilt) is nearly parallel with the barrel of the bat. There are fluctuations from this. But in general, this tends to be the case. However, with some amateur hitters I will see a degree of tilt that will be nearly identical regardless of pitch location. They tilt the same way on every pitch, instead of tilting based on the location of the pitch. I tend to see this mostly with hitters that are too rotational. Too much swinging "around their body". IMO, if a hitter tries to forcefully rotate their hips, this is what happens. Is there rotation? Sure. But it's a result, not a cause.
Thanks FP26. Your saying the same thing TM did in the video, hitters trying to be rotational instead of tilting.
Thank you! I believe this is my dd problem, tilt same way on every pitch. I asked her to do high tee drill last night.... right at her shoulders. She was under the ball every swing, she made contact, but barrel path started under the ball and up through. I was wondering if she could figure it out herself, she couldn’t. I tried to explain, keeping hands above the ball, but made no difference. She was tilting every time which resulted in barrel/hands starting below the ball. When watching professional hitters, I typically see something like the gif below.
