Seems pretty legit. I know almost all of those teams.

I would expect BB Campbell/Stith to be in the top 10, but they will probably move up as the year goes on.
FC Venegas did well last year, but is mostly carried by a very good pitcher. They were a very different team without her in the circle.
Ohana Tigers Sanchez will fall. Their team has recently lost some of their best players.

Last year, my DD's team played Ohana Tigers Halloway multiple times. Every game but the last one was a 1-run game. We beat them 6-4 at TCS World Series. We played a friendly against American Pastime in the fall. Crazy game. Injuries had us down to 8 players on the field at the end of the game, but we beat them 10-9. Overall though, they're a better team most days. That said, we are a better team than we were last year, for sure.

Got a link to your source?

EDIT: USA Athletics Mathis should be in the mix somewhere (IMO)

I agree, I missed USA Athletics Mathis. I'd even have them in the top 10 with FC Thornburg Kaiser in the 11-30 group
Edited original post.

Source would just be 4 years of watching these teams/girls develop

Did I have your team in there among those top 10/30 teams? There are probably another 15-20 teams on the bubble with the 11-30

FC Thornburg Kaiser seems to have faded over the past year-ish. We beat them 7-3 at TCS WS, too.

My DD’s team did not make your list...SCA Grasse Molina.

Which team is yours?

I don't think Thornburg Adams is the same team as Thornburg Kaiser was. The 04 Brashear teams had a mix up when they added Explosion Smith and Mikes girls and Brashear/Lopez sort of melted in that 2022 team.
I don't think I remember seeing SCA Grasse/Molina.

I hadn’t heard that Smith left Explosion. I always thought he was the head guy of that org.

Last year we were So Cal A’s - Medina/Grasse/Molina. We dropped the Medina name this year after some things changed in the relationship with Tony.

Not that familiar with Tony, the DD loves the Briggs' though, Ken is one of the coaches at OLu.
Pretty sure the Medina Briggs As team is a mix of 04s and 05s with some of the old SCA Alonzo/Briggs players, a pitcher from the old BB Frias team and another 2023 pitcher that I heard came over from Pastime joining the Heyward/Whitlock team's core.
Watched them beat Holcomb Knight, Breakers Labs and a Cruisers Caouette back to back to back. Hadn't seen them before but that was impressive.
