JAD- sorry I was unable to locate you on Friday. Everyone was bundled up and I didn't know who I was looking for.
But the family had a great time. DD was bat girl. Kudos to Duke for implementing this program. Great opportunity for young DD's to look up to older girls. DD did hear a few cuss words but I laughed it off when she told us.

Sorry we did not get to meet and I hope y'all come back and give me another chance! With the way we were playing in the first game Friday night I am surprised your DD only heard a few choice words and it was probably a good thing she was not sitting next to me - I was stricken with turrets during most of that game!

We were there but didn't want to walk up to every tall guy and say, "Are you Bud?" LOL We'll come to more when the weather warms up. 
I admit when RF dropped that pop fly I just dropped my head to the point I missed the play at the plate.

Hip/Labrum recovery and return
FYI, my oldest (another sport) had same injury and surgery. Amazing speed of recovery. Walking same day as surgery (with crutches) and into PT within weeks. Feels great and has all motion and strength since surgery. Also, younger DD is softball Coach, and one of her players had surgery and was backing working into team practice and games in 10 weeks. back on field defensively and offensively and most don't even know she had the procedure.

Agreed. NDST scored many runs due to Duke's 4 errors. That sun in RF was wicked.We were there but didn't want to walk up to every tall guy and say, "Are you Bud?" LOL We'll come to more when the weather warms up.
She had a cortisone shot a week ago and it seems to be helping. They have also cut down on the amount of running she is doing. Thanks for asking!
