Best of Boston as mentioned earlier. We'll be attending that it is pricey for a one day camp....

As far as being inside, I was told by a coach playing on turf makes everything faster.

Camps with multiple colleges during winter that runs multiple days they just don't have them, to my knowledge.

Yes and everything seemed to have more topspin associated with it. I just didn't like it but I had been taking ground balls on grass for 15+ years before that. To be honest
it may be less of an adjustment for softball since all dirt infields may be more similar to indoor conditions than grass infields in baseball.

Something to consider when looking at cold weather schools is the schedule and travel. Five to six straight weekends on the road is grueling. Be prepared for multiple connecting flights and some LONG layovers, especially if the school isn’t in a hub city. It was common to leave before sunrise on Thursday and return well after midnight on Sunday.

Most softball teams season starts @ mid-February and a lot of Northern schools do not schedule home games until after Spring break.

DD got an invite to one her target schools winter camps and the dates worked so looks like we re going to be cold for New Years. Looking like we are doing the whole unofficial visit thing even though it will be real quiet during the holiday break.
