2020 fielding offers question

What criteria is best to use when making a decision (or not) on an offer(s)? Coaching staff could change, current academic major choice could change 10 times, social life will change, etc. So much can happen in 3 yrs. SHOULD 2020s make verbal commitments? Asking for a friend

Unless it is a 100% offer from the school of hers dreams, absolutely not. Her projection at the next level should only increase over the next year. I have seen this happen with noob's who want to be done with the process so they do not have to spend additional money on showcases and have a family vacation and job over the summer. Then in their Senior year they scramble to find something, anything at Neverheardof State U.
