Of the things I said in my post on that thread, I think the single most important thing was DD speaking with a "real college scout"- someone who had been there, done that and was actually interested in talking with her.
I may contact them again, now that DD is a junior, thinks she knows where she wants to go but is casting a very small net at colleges we may not be able to afford. she has no safety school.
