Carlson strides beyond the pitching lane, much like that ASU pitcher (name?). illegal? of course.
from the rulebook:
10.4.2 ... The stride foot must land on or within the
lines of the pitcher’s lane. For a right-handed pitcher, the pivot foot is her
right foot and the stride foot, her left.
