Do they have a football team? If so use a home game weekend for a visit and you might get to see the game. Look at the softball camp dates, do they match up with football or basketball? My DD worked an unofficial and got a tour, 1 on 1 with the coaching staff and 3 tickets to the football home opener. We had to pay the travel etc. This process is crazy and you will leave most camps wondering what's going on. Just stay the course and ask the questions you think are important. I've only had 1 experience with a coach I classify as negative/feeling lied too. For every bad theres 20 good.

Actually not long after I posted we worked out a quick visit. Not the best timing with no home game or anything, but we felt we should take advantage of the window we have. I wonder what is going on every day! Thanks for the advice. Staying the course is tricky these days especially with a 2020 and so many variables in the mix.
Mine is a 2019 that just moved from a local/regional showcase team to a National level 16U team. The process is crazy at times and if you read into everything you might go nuts lol. Best of luck to you. Love reading about all the stories and experiences.
