thought id update on this for younger parents..dd#1 went to George fox in 2015 to study engineering and play softball. had a blast in fall but found out college classes are different than hs and was ineligible for spring semester. she liked the coach but since she wasn't playing had a hard time adjusting. she wanted to come home but stayed and brought her grades up and was eligible the next semester. she decided to not go back for various reasons. she went to a local jc and had a great year. made all conference and is no at Humboldt state a d2 trying to get to play. she may not get playing time this year but seems to be happy.
dd#2 decided to go to a naia in Kansas. she only chose 1 school. she is pretty happy so far successful fall and she has started 7 of their 8 games as catcher. recruiting was fun..college ball is fun.. i have twin 10 yr olds i might pick a different sport!!
