Default NSA Eastern WA Spring Tournaments

Ice Breaker - April 6-8 in Tri Cities, and Sterling May 26-28 in Wenatchee. Anybody going? We are taking the trip through the mountains from Seattle for both this year to play in the 14U divisions. I see our fearless admin Ken Krous is also the tournament director for Sterling this year.

I was at Ice Breaker. Enjoy the rain? I've been to Ice Breaker 5 or 6 times. It's rained all but one time and even if it's not raining the wind is just miserable. Not doing it again.

Sterling is great except for the drive there and back in the holiday traffic.

Did it last year....went there to play out of the rain. Instead we got rained out the first day. Played 5 games on Sunday. Wind was blowing 30+ almost constant. Had our LF right behind SS. No one could hit it that way. If a ball was hit that way it looked like they stopped and fell out of the sky. Pitchers who didn't throw a curve suddenly had one.

The fields were in great shape and the TD's/SD's were great to work with. Umpires were good.

Probably not going back based on our experience and others previous years. Saving our money and travel budget for better weather windows.
