good start to fall season for DD behind the plate
Congrats to your DD! As the parent of a catcher, I can appreciate how throwing out a couple of would-be base stealers can really affect a game. My DD just completed her college career and refers to herself as “softball old.” She already feels the effects of years of catching in her hips and...- wait...what???

Thanks Eric! As I mentioned in my first post, I generally prefer to watch from the sidelines. My DD’s story contradicts the norm in so many ways. She was on the same travel team with the same coach from 8 years old until she left for college. She was a four year starter on a very good high...- wait...what???

She really likes that gear. She took a foul ball straight to the face mask during their first conference game this year. She took a moment to gather herself but she said she was totally fine. Finished the game and they won. The next day she broke her hand and was out for six weeks. She said...- wait...what???
