    U10 Coach, always with more questions. =)

    U10 means "Under 10" here, you can't be older than 9 Dec 31st if I recall. You can turn 10 during the season, but you move to U12 for the next year. My Google of 10U seems to indicate you are correct and it's you can't be older than 10 Dec 31st.

    Interesting batting order conversation in general. As currently a 10U coach, I try to construct my hitting lineup strong-weak-strong-weak-etc to minimize the chances of a 3up/3down innings. My current thought is to move to an order that is the same and just change where the start of the rotation...

    I prefer SS ready position. It looks quicker to react to move and react to whatever happens. I have no idea what I'm talking about though.

    New 10U coach here. I run the girls 2 innings per position, then switch bringing the outfield in and sending part of the infield out. Being lazy and lucky my pitchers also like to catch so I cycle them each inning.
