I would also find and watch Monica Abbott do her long toss for Jaeger sports video on YouTube. Riseball was also an invaluable resource that I bounced some question off of a few years ago when my DD was really getting into it.
She consistently threw a little farther each week we did it. And then every once and a while would have a big jump of 10 to 15 feet. As far as speed Rick Pauley’s chart is accurate +\- a mile or so with 125 be 55 mph and then every 5 for after would be equivalent to 1 mph faster. Also this...
We have been doing long toss twice a week since my daughter was 12. She is now 17 and regularly gets it out to between 175-187 feet, underhand, and consistently hits 65-66 on the radar gun.
In my daughter it shows when she dtops getting into her load as well as at the beginning of the game. She then tries to muscle the ball and it tends to be up in the zone when that happens. When she realizes and focuses on it her drive becomes better and the ball goes back down in the zone where...
So Riseball I'm sure I remember seeing this before...but what did your DD actually top out at when at South Carolina?

I'm just curious as to why the gun is off at all. My daughter throws from 61-63 on a pocket radar ballcoach....I would love to know how that compares to some of what I see on tv...but if ESPN is truly off then who knows...smh

Well I'm watching the Oregon James Madison game and the JMU pitcher Megan Good is hitting 71-72 according to the ESPN gun.

I attribute most of it to the strength and conditioning program she has been doing since June. Not to mention the fact that she's 6' tall, as I'm sure that helps as well.
Well my DD is 15 and turning 16 in March and has gone from 58 mph to 61 mph in just the last month. So it all depends on the kid and how hard they work along with the rate of maturation.
Many of you have helped with advice for my DD Maya. Well she started her high school teams season opener as a freshman and threw a 2 hit shutout, while striking out 8 and walking none. What makes this more impressive is this is only 2 weeks after being cleared from a severe mcl strain that...
This is a great story, but....My daughter did the same exact thing at 10u....15 up 15 down all strikeouts...perfect game....10-0...lol High school a bit more impressive.

Here is a video of her showing pretty decent front side resistance.
Again hope this helps.https://cloud.tapatalk.com/s/59014160e865f/2017-04-19_21-33-23-031.mp4
