Favorite Catchers Mitt for 18U/College/Pro level

Well with DD's glove it is a little too stiff at the moment to use in a game for exactly the reason you said. It doesn't close just quite enough for the ball to not rattle around just a bit. She's using the glove in practice etc. to finish breaking it in but not games. She's too scared a ball...

Favorite Catchers Mitt for 18U/College/Pro level

I like that All Star myself too. Probably more so than the LA. I don't blame you either for not liking that colorway on the HoH. We saw that and didn't like it either.

Favorite Catchers Mitt for 18U/College/Pro level

The quality is something else. It really is! Nothing I've seen in the stores compares to it. Don't get me wrong, A2000, Liberty Advanced, etc. those are all nice gloves. But when you build the custom you can select several options that just aren't available on the "store bought" versions. My...

Favorite Catchers Mitt for 18U/College/Pro level

A custom Rawlings HoH depending on your budget. Stiff as a brick, great leather, clean stitching. We chose the leather padding. Did I mention it’s stiff?

NCAA Approved Bat List - No Freak

Closest in feel and balance to that bat I can think of is the Mizuno Power Carbon. It swings light and balanced. The LS RXT we have is very balanced too and only .3 over sticker. Just takes a lot to get going lol.

    Playing with Diabetes

Thanks we have both of those here. She uses the pen. You're right, so much easier. Good suggestions, I'll see if I can find those. I was thinking about it yesterday wondering about sweat and the sensor. I ordered some cover patches for it, should help I hope.

    Playing with Diabetes

Thank you so much for the post. I appreciate every bit of it. I'm betting others will too that come here or search for it. Eventually we'd like start her on a pump but I worry about the wire and her catching. Thanks, she down right amazes me with her determination and resolve to not let this...

Dissolvable tablets, that's a good idea. I need to see if I can find some of those.

    Playing with Diabetes

I'm glad she has the CGM now. She's planning on putting it to use this weekend. She's probably sick of me asking or texting her and asking what her level is lol. With her I think she's more "used" to it being high. Typically when its very high she may seem out of it or have alot of blonde...

    Playing with Diabetes

You know, with my DD for a while now there would be little things I'd notice and it would always make me go huh...Just seemed like sometimes she'd be moving like a slug or out of it for a lil' bit. Now we figure that was probably why we just didn't realize it. Last Saturday she had a private...

    Playing with Diabetes

Thanks! You're definitely right about the highs and the lows. We met with the endocrinologist for the first time on Tuesday. She changed her long-term insulin to one, while chemically the same and insurance covered that one, the past two days of using it....she was running constantly high, as in...

    Playing with Diabetes

About a month ago we found out out of the blue that our 14 year old daughter is a Type 1 diabetic. This hit us like a ton of bricks and was quite a shock for us. Over the past month her glucose levels have been all over the place 500 to 70 and back like a roller coaster. In spite of that, my...

    Feedback on catchers gear

Like Eric I would suggest All Star. My daughter uses the Easton Jen Shro mask (very best) but honestly I have to say I like the Pro-X Mask by them slightly better. It just seemed to fit her better. With that said the Jen Shro mask does fit her better than the All Star masks. She uses the All...
