    Barrel-Forearm Alignment

    Why is that?
  2. T

Getting "turn the barrel" to stick

The role of the scaps loading does include taking the "natural slack out"but it's primary goal is to unload the scaps into the ball.

    DD Bat Drag ?

redhotcoach, You're not the guy who got hit in the head with the bat are you?

    DD Bat Drag ?

The poster girl on this thread has made some significant improvements on the bag swing as well as off the tee. She has also made a number of additional adjustments to her swing with a number to go. I t would be nice to see her continue her progress by showing how well these already seen...

    Illegal pitch calling this year

Would it be possible for someone to show video along with an exact explanation of exactly what is illegal about these pitches? Thanks

    HOW do you Teach TILT!

If you take a look at post 15 where CY posted the no audio back leg video there are many hitters to watch so you can judge for yourself whether the elbow leads the hands or the hands lead the elbow. As previously mentioned,I see a variety. What do you see?

    HOW do you Teach TILT!

FFS, The swing of the hitter that MTS posted from HI is not what I was describing in my previous post in this thread.Maybe you or MTS could tell me if that video is an example of what is being taught there? In many high level swing videos it appears to me that the back elbow is slightly behind...

    HOW do you Teach TILT!

If you have the rear elbow behind the rear hand at setup and then you maintain that relationship by holding the hinge angle as you slot/turn/rotate without pulling or pushing the rear arm until you get around the corner, the momentum you build up will assist in getting the rear arm into the L...

    Pro swing

Prior to the game, what was the distance to the hitter from which the pitcher was throwing BP ? Also,at approximately what speed was the ball being thrown during BP?Are they using BP to pitch to locations(inside vs outside or up vs down ) to get them ready for what they will see in the game or...

Opinions on attacking the lead elbow

Ray, Are you talking about whipping into contact?Isn't that present in every MLB swing?

This is a great at bat

I never saw that step to the pitch done like that either.Great obsevation!I didn't think that was possible. She is making time efficiently to step to the ball. She must see it really well out of the pitchers hand and the timing on the swing has to be very well coordinated to do such a thing...

    DD vs. dad hitting

I would stick with the second swing and forget the first as that punch it over the infield idea has no merit and the swing is all arms as she extends or pushs outside of her power base to make contact.

    O'Leary, Cshilt,Wellphyt,FiveFrameSwing, other hitting "experts"

Paul Nyman's stuff should be read by any serious student of the hitting and throwing process. You may not always agree with what he says or how he says it but anyone who studies his material will see the value in it. He has an unmatched ability to prove his beliefs via scientiic principles.His...

    My Two Cents

Shawn, I saw those clips the first time you posted them and also saw that nobody commented . I would like to hear what you have to say about what you see.It did appear to me that the swing plane of the pro was flatter when compared to the swing plane of the women . It has been mentioned that...

    Howard Drill

CO,I have viewed this player's swing many times from the side and although the information you offer has merit, you are comparing an overhead view of Rose to a rear view of the player to come your conclusions. Don't you think that the comclusions you are making about the efficiency of her...
