Out of the batters box rule in High School (NFHS)
Batter was called out for being out of the box. Was this the correct call? I thought the foot had to be completely out of the box in High School.- steve865

I'm having a hard time understanding why you wouldn't attempt to throw the runner out stealing second. Why would this situation be any different than if it was a 1 run game with runner on first and one out? I don't think any team would just allow the tying run to steal second and get in...- steve865

The ruling on the field was incidental contact. I thought obstruction should have been called because the shortshop was blocking the path to second base without possession of the ball and was actually on top of the runner at one point.
