    Where should you hit the ball?

    This, or some version of this, is what I've always seen when folks talk about hitting the lower half. I'm guessing the focus on the inside part of the ball is to remind the hitter to keep hands inside the ball? I always tried to teach my DD that this contact should be made as she's coming up...

    Which glove is larger / has a bigger pocket - The Rawlings Liberty Advanced 34" or the All-Star Vela Pro CMW3000? My DD has always used a Mizuno mitt, however, I'd like to get her something with a bit more padding. We tried the Vinci JCV-VM, but DD didn't like it...she just wasn't comfortable...

    Does your softball player have any weird quirks?

    iddave, my DD has small ankles and most shoes have a loose fit/feel for her. We tie her shoes like in this video and it has really helped. Maybe it can help your DD and save her from sore feet. https://youtu.be/IijQyX_YCKA

    D2 coaches can begin contacting athletes June 15 BEFORE their Junior Year. D1 coaches can begin contacting athletes September 1 OF their Junior Year. So, if you're a rising Junior, the D2 coaches can already talk with you, and the D1 coaches will be able to shortly.
