Retaining Players and How many Tryouts are too many
Hey all. Just wondering how many tryouts are too many to go to? The level of coaches & umpires
i think this is a hard thing to say because "skill" is subjective. Different organizations are also so different in coach hiring philosophy from being parent volunteers to paid coaches. yet many volunterr parents can getjust as good results as paid coaches do. so i am not sure if i think this...- Hustle LI

the funny thing, is she is the youngest on her team and only 1 of 4 kids still eligible for 12 u in 22-23 season. next year she will be one of the few remaining 12us on a team that will be made up of mostly 1st year 12us from the 10u team that will be graduating to them. likely going from a team...- Hustle LI

The summer travel rec league we joined only had a handful of 14u teams and 2 12u teams register for league play. Our team is a 12u team. "Don't like the Blue's call?" or "Do you want to be an umpire!?"
there is eventually an end of the expense for clothes, the money will come after. gotta put in to get out. besides, most people do not do this for money as the main motivation. i find, even with the umpires, it is all about the kids and the game.- Hustle LI
